Week 11 DST Rankings – Looking Ahead to the Fantasy Playoffs — Sponsored by SKYLLZONE

Week 11 DST Rankings

Six defenses are coming off byes – and that makes 12 defenses coming off byes over the past two weeks. The Week 11 DST rankings are quite mixed.

What I mean by that is there are several good defenses dropping out of the top 10 because of matchups, and likewise, there are some mediocre defenses moving into the top 10.

But this week, rather than just give you the rankings for this week, I thought it would be smart to give you a deeper look at the position going forward.

With so many players coming off bye weeks, you can afford to dump your backup quarterback if you own players like Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers. Or you can dump that backup tight end or fifth wide receiver you’ll never use.

Then you can fill that roster spot with one of these DSTs with favorable matchups during the Fantasy playoffs!

I’ll be using FFToolbox.com’s Strength of Schedule for Weeks 14-16.

2 Best Defenses for Fantasy Playoffs

Tennessee Titans– vs. NYG, vs. NYJ, at JAC: Facing the Jets and Jaguars in the last two weeks of Fantasy Football makes this Titans defense the best one to own in the postseason. They’re not much in the forced turnovers department, but the Titans are tied for the seventh-most sacks per game in the NFL.

N.Y. Giants – at TEN, vs. WAS, at STL: While the Giants defense doesn’t look too attractive, this schedule puts them up against three of the 10 worst offenses in the NFL. The Rams, Titans and Redskins all allow over 10.22 Fantasy points per game to opposing defense/special teams.

2 Sleeper Defenses for Fantasy Playoffs

Washington Redskins – vs. STL, at NYG, vs. PHI: The Eagles are a tough offense to face in Week 16, but the Rams allow the most Fantasy points to opposing DSTs this season (16.22).

New Orleans Saints – vs. CAR, at CHI, vs. ATL: The Panthers and Bears are certainly having some offensive issues lately, and the Falcons have given up 12 sacks in the past four games.

2 Defenses with Bad Fantasy Playoffs Matchups

Week 11 DST Rankings - SKYLLZONE Fan vs MachineCincinnati Bengals – vs. PIT, at CLE, vs. DEN: Facing Big Ben and Peyton Manning in the playoffs should be enough to make you drop this team now (especially since they also face the Saints in Week 11).

San Diego Chargers – vs. NE, vs. DEN, at SF: The Chargers look good for Week 11 (vs. OAK) and Week 12 (vs. STL), but they’re useless in the Fantasy playoffs.
